Teriyaki Chicken
With its deliciously sweet and very versatile flavour, this classic Japanese sauce can be used in a stir-fry or as a basting sauce for grilled meat and seafood. ‘Teri’ means ‘lustre’ in Japanese, which describes the sauce’s shiny gloss.

Serving Suggestion

Method
- Heat one tablespoon of oil in a wok
- Add sliced chicken & cook on high until cooked, then add vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
- Pour stir-fry sauce into wok and toss through
- Reduce heat to low & stir for 2-3 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked.
- Serve immediately on a bed of steamed rice
What You'll Need
- 600g sliced chicken (thigh meat is the best)
- 1 cup sliced vegetables (we recommend carrot, onion & capsicum)
- 2 cups of steamed rice

Chef's Note
Use as a basting sauce for chicken, beef, pork or seafood, cook on a barbeque or grill. Serve with sticky rice, salad and Japanese pickles.
